After Dinner Desserts
If you are having Savory Finger Foods served at your Birthday Party, Wedding or casual dinner party for your friends, offer one or two options of sweet finger foods to finish the food service. Finger Foods are presented on platters, and should be easy to eat while standing. A table with bite sized pieces of cake and slices are also very popular for Christenings and Ladies Lunches.
If you are planning a Chocolate Fountain, skewers with Marshmallows, strawberries, wafers are popular options to compliment the fountain. For those that like to keep their options simple: Strawberries dipped in Chocolate, Bite Size Brownies, and my favourite; marshmallows dipped partly in chocolate and dipped in coconut. Using little catering fork skewers are perfect as they look great and are very functional.
Fresh fruit is also a simple and effective option when planning a function. They are great in Summer to keep guests cool and are a great addition to Buffet Catering. Fruit Platters can look amazing when presented with a range of different colors and textures. If you are interested in Dessert Finger Foods to serve at your function, these options above will not only look great but taste great also. Enjoying dessert does not always need to be in the form of a traditional cake served on a plate and eaten with a spoon. Being creative will allow your guests to try simple and create food designed to be enjoyed.

Catering to the Vegetarians
In- house catering will provide catering services with the main aim to make guests happy with beautiful food. When placing an order at a restaurant and you have any special requests the chef will know ahead of time before cooking your meal. Working with caterers operates on the same system.
It can be frustrating as a caterer to provide beautiful food for you and your guests, only to find out that a handful of guests have limited food to eat. When catering any function, a good policy for planning menus is simple and easy. A selection of hot and cold options, dishes with and without meat, and several types of meat including red and white. This really provides a diverse range of food options for guests covering most dietary requirements.
Buffets generally offer a range of foods including breads, salads, meats and vegetables. Buffets are really great if you really don't know if anyone will have dietary requirements. Sometimes it can be very difficult to know without specifically asking. Finger foods can be difficult to select a menu that will cover any special request at the last minute.
Menus are planned in advance, so there is plenty of time for the chef to make orders, prepare and cook food to suit. Given this, it is important to work with your caterer and advise them of any special requests you have for your catering. With this information adjustments can be made in advance to the menu and ingredients used.
