Questions to Ask a Caterer About a Wedding

After you have finished meeting with a bunch of San Diego caterers you might be tempted to ask a Magic 8 Ball which one you should choose. But, it is definitely more effective to ask the Linkfollowing analytical questions to help you make the right decision.

1. Ask about the caterer's experience! Make sure your wedding caterer is familiar with the bride, groom, venue, and all things wedding. Ask them to share client testimonials, bride and groom thank-yous and anything else that would prove the caterer's effectiveness. Also, possible ask a tough situation the catering company has experience and how they handled and/or solved it!

2. Ask about work flow. You need to ask the caterer how they are going to serve guests at your wedding event. Ask the caterer about guest to food ratio, clean-up service, and how much extra it costs for white-glove service. Most caterers have enough experience to help make suggestions about timing for serving the courses.

3. Ask about the menu. Find out if the food will be cooked on or off-site. Some caterers cook before the wedding and then "re-heat" the food when it comes time to serve. Also ask about back-up food options. If for some reason the food you requested isn't available on your wedding day, you need to be on the same page as your caterer for options about replacement items.

4. Ask about the contract! Do not sign the contract unless you sign-up! Make sure your caterer is very clear about cancellation policies and deposit deadlines. Ask your caterer about the company's backup options should an incident occur that prevents them from performing their contractual duties. Ask about any minimum requirements with regards to number of guests and food and beverage costs. Clarify any confusing or complicated wording and ask for time to review the contract at home before signing.

Luckily, Isaac's Catering has all the qualities you need in a San Diego catering company! They have a great selection for menu items, clear contracts, the right experience, and perfect work flow! Check them out for your wedding event!

Banquet Catering

You remember the term "banquet" right? Banquets are those big events with round tables that sit 7-10 people, large quantities of food, and a large guest list. You usually find banquet style catering at events such as weddings and corporate events.

Food service styles vary from informal buffets in which guests prepare their own plates from a large selection of food to pre-determined meals served to each guest individually by a hired wait staff. Our North Country catering will be able to provide a consultation to help any event or party planner figure out what kind of service would be most appropriate for the occasion. The most important aspect to consider when planning a banquet is the kitchen of your event location.

First step is to examine the kitchen of your location. The kitchen will obviously need to be large enough and have enough equipment to meet the needs of your event. The right kitchen will also help the catering staff stay happy, efficient, and effective.

Isaac’s Catering team of Food Service Professionals has served and developed relationships with more than two million people since their inception eight years ago. With over 90 years of combined experience on our staff, we have maintained a goal of exceeding the expectations of each customer.Whether you desire pick-up, delivery, or full service with equipment, one call will end your anxious moments for all of your catered events.

Isaac's Catering can be as innovative as you like when considering the many banquet catering options. A few options to consider include the amount of staff to meet the needs of the guests, the decorations, the linens, and centerpieces used. The overall objective is to host a successful event and a good caterer can assist you in planning all the details.

Planning a Corporate Event

You have been chosen to host a corporate event for your company, now what do you do? You know the old saying, "never mix business with pleasure", except in this case. The following tips will assist you in making everything turn out perfectly.

The first, and probably most important part, of this corporate event is the food. Often, the success of the entire event is based on the quality of the food. Alleviate your work load and hire a catering service. When you hire a San Diego catering service to cater your corporate event, you allow yourself and your co-workers the opportunity to plan and focus on the many details and the intention of your corporate event.

Before calling the caterer decide on the mood of the corporate event. Is it going to be casual or elegant? Do you need the catering service to assist you with a venue. A quality catering service can provide all the amenities such as tables, chairs, and tents, to make your corporate event as successful as possible. You want to ensure that your corporate event is not only enjoyable but also memorable.

Consider the following points:

* What is your event’s intention? Do you want to reveal a new service or product? Perhaps your corporate event is a thank you party for clients and vendors?

* Prepare your guest list and set a date and time. Traditionally, two and a half to three hours is appropriate for a corporate event.

* Design your invitation and request an RSVP.

* Consider hiring a bartender if you plan to serve alcohol. Make certain your bartender is covered for liquor liability insurance.

* Think about your menu options and discuss them with your catering service. Consider your guests that may have special dietary needs.

Fortunately for us, Isaac's catering service has all the assets we need to perform a successful and memorable corporate event! Call them today!
